Brianne Stephenson, Co-Owner and Instructor
Brianne Stephenson grew up studying all disciplines of dance. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Dance and Theatre from Rowan University. She was captain of the dance team, president of the dance company, and an avid pointe/ballet dancer under the instruction of a ballet dancer from the Russian Ballet! After college, Brianne danced for a few NYC and NJ companies and became the captain of the New Jersey Devils Dance team in the NHL. She was also a teacher for Dance to Learn, an initiative throughout New Jersey that brought dance to schools with underfunded art programs. Brianne's favorite place to be is teaching her kiddos at EDA and can't wait to bring her own baby here one day soon!


Megan Schultz, Co-Owner and Instructor
Miss Meg began studying dance at the young age of 3 out of a studio in North Jersey.  While attending Rowan University, she earned her minor in dance, performed in a contemporary company under the direction of Paule Turner, was captain of the Rowan University dance team, and was a member of a tap company based out of Philadelphia under the direction of Corinne Karon.  Since graduating, Miss Meg has choreographed several Musicals with Teen Arts Guild and coached the William Patterson University Dance Team.  She has been a dance teacher for over a decade and is so excited to continue sharing her passion of dance with Extensions Dance Academy.


Jeff Bayot, Co-Owner and Instructor
Jeff was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, where his affinity for music introduced him to the world of bboying (breaking). Having fallen in love with this style he trained and battled often, but it was not until he left for college in Washington DC that he took his first hip hop dance class. At George Washington University he was one of the founding members of Capital Funk and later joined the professional company, Urban Artistry. After years of dancing in DC, he travelled to Los Angeles where he worked and trained as a professional dancer. Upon moving back to NJ, Jeff helped create the dance group, Good Toilet Paper. He has been teaching dance for many years and believes in a holistic approach to hip hop, making sure to stress the importance of culture along with technique. His classes focus on many different styles including breaking, popping, hip hop, locking, waacking, house, and bmore club, among others.


Rebecca Allen, Instructor
Rebecca, a New York City native, started dancing at the age of 4 at both a competition studio and strict ballet studio. She is an alumna of LaGuardia H.S. (the "Fame" school in Manhattan) and the Dance Conservatory at SUNY Purchase. She also studied in Perth, Australia, at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, focusing on contemporary dance and aerial circus silks. Rebecca is a professional dancer and has danced with many contemporary companies including MATYCHAK, AMS Project, Dance Householder, and Sum Bones Co. She is currently a member of CoreDance Contemporary, Synthesis Dance Project, and Copy That Dance, dancing in Manhattan 5 times a week. Miss Becky is thrilled to share her love of dance with her EDA students and is looking forward to the future of the studio.
 
Cassie Barber, Instructor
Miss Cassie grew up in Point Pleasant and has been a member of our dance community for over 20 years, always considering the studio to be her home away from home. She has trained in a variety of dance styles including tap, jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, musical theater, hip hop, and pom. While attending College of Charleston, Cassie was on of the captains for the Nationally Ranked Division 1 Cougarettes Dance Team.  Since graduating, Cassie continued her love of dance through teaching. Outside of her time in the studio, you can find Miss Cassie planning, designing and creating wedding day magic with Castiglione Events!

Bevinn Byrne, Guest Instructor
Miss Bevinn grew up in Franklin Lakes, NJ and spends her summers down here in Bay Head, NJ. She has been competing since the age of six, and has trained in various styles such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater, and Acro. Bevinn trained at Studio L Dance Co. where she has won individual titles as well as many regional and national championships with her team. She is currently a junior on the Rutgers University Dance Team, and was a finalist at the UDA College Dance Team National Championship in Orlando, Florida.  Bevinn made the 2nd All Big 10 Dance Team for the 2021 and 2022 season.


EvaMarie Guzman, Instructor
Miss Eva has been teaching Ballet and Pointe in New Jersey and North Carolina for over 30 years.  She has directed and choreographed The Nutcracker for various studios. Several of Miss Eva's former students have gone on to do professional work.  We are so excited to have Miss Eva at EDA!


Kristen Hayes, Instructor
Miss Kristen is a Jersey Shore native with over 20 years of extensive dance training in tap, jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and heels. While she began her dance career in the world of competitive dance, she continued her training under the direction of the FIT Dance Company when she moved to New York City in 2017. After relocating back to NJ during the pandemic, she shifted her direction to teaching dance, which she describes as her favorite part of her dance career thus far! When she’s not in the studio, Miss Kristen can be found taking a yoga or fitness class, working her full-time job in marketing, or scootering down Ocean Avenue in her new hometown of Asbury Park, NJ.

 
Ariana Speranza-Linga, Instructor
Miss Ariana has been dancing since she was 3 years old! She recieved her bachelors in dance from Georgian Court University in 2018. Ariana has studied many styles of dance including lyrical, jazz, acro, and contemporary. She started
teaching yoga in 2017 and uses the techniques of yoga while teaching acro.  She loves to share her passion and joy for dance with everyone she teaches.

Felicia Rembert, Instructor
Miss Felicia grew up as a competitive dancer for over two decades and has trained at studios including Broadway Dance Center, STEPS on Broadway, and Alvin Ailey.  Felicia was a member of the nationally ranked Rutgers Dance Team for 3 years.  She has modeled for Dance Spirit Magazine, Bodywrappers, and the Dance Teacher Summit fashion show.  She appeared on TV shows including The Apprentice, The Rachel Ray Show, Aeropostale commercial, American Gladiator, and many nationally televised news specials. In 2008, Felicia appeared on MTV's Season 2 of America's Best Dance Crew.  Following she became a member of the NJ Ironmen Dance Team and was part of the New Jersey Devils Dancers for six years. In 2013, Felicia appeared in the Kelly Clarkson, "Stronger" music video. She also has trained with many choreographers such as, Geo Hubela, Dave Scott, Sheila Baker, Talia Favia, Sonya Tayeh, and Tabitha & Napoleon.  Felicia spends most of her time inside the dance studio as a lead competition choreographer. She has won numerous choreography awards, national championships, a world championship, and was inducted into the Star Dance Alliance's Circle of Excellence for her Choreography. Lastly, Felicia is a current judge at Decadance, but will be the newest judge for Dance Xplosion and Starstruck this upcoming season.
