Brianne Stephenson, Co-Owner and Instructor
Brianne Stephenson grew up studying all disciplines of dance. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Dance and Theatre from Rowan University. She was captain of the dance team, president of the dance company, and an avid pointe/ballet dancer under the instruction of a ballet dancer from the Russian Ballet! After college, Brianne danced for a few NYC and NJ companies and became the captain of the New Jersey Devils Dance team in the NHL. She was also a teacher for Dance to Learn, an initiative throughout New Jersey that brought dance to schools with underfunded art programs. Brianne's favorite place to be is teaching her kiddos at EDA and can't wait to bring her own baby here one day soon!

Megan MacDonald, Co-Owner and Instructor
Miss Meg began studying dance at the young age of 3 out of a studio in North Jersey.  While attending Rowan University, she earned her minor in dance, performed in a contemporary company under the direction of Paule Turner, was captain of the Rowan University dance team, and was a member of a tap company based out of Philadelphia under the direction of Corinne Karon.  Since graduating, Miss Meg has choreographed several Musicals with Teen Arts Guild and coached the William Patterson University Dance Team.  She has been a dance teacher for over a decade and is so excited to continue sharing her passion of dance with Extensions Dance Academy.

Jeff Bayot, Co-Owner and Instructor
Jeff was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, where his affinity for music introduced him to the world of bboying (breaking). Having fallen in love with this style he trained and battled often, but it was not until he left for college in Washington DC that he took his first hip hop dance class. At George Washington University he was one of the founding members of Capital Funk and later joined the professional company, Urban Artistry. After years of dancing in DC, he travelled to Los Angeles where he worked and trained as a professional dancer. Upon moving back to NJ, Jeff helped create the dance group, Good Toilet Paper. He has been teaching dance for many years and believes in a holistic approach to hip hop, making sure to stress the importance of culture along with technique. His classes focus on many different styles including breaking, popping, hip hop, locking, waacking, house, and bmore club, among others.

Rebecca Allen, Instructor
Rebecca, a New York City native, started dancing at the age of 4 at both a competition studio and strict ballet studio. She is an alumna of LaGuardia H.S. (the "Fame" school in Manhattan) and the Dance Conservatory at SUNY Purchase. She also studied in Perth, Australia, at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, focusing on contemporary dance and aerial circus silks. Rebecca is a professional dancer and has danced with many contemporary companies including MATYCHAK, AMS Project, Dance Householder, and Sum Bones Co. She is currently a member of CoreDance Contemporary, Synthesis Dance Project, and Copy That Dance, dancing in Manhattan 5 times a week. Miss Becky is thrilled to share her love of dance with her EDA students and is looking forward to the future of the studio.

Kristen Hayes, Instructor
Miss Kristen is a Jersey Shore native with over 20 years of extensive dance training in tap, jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and heels. While she began her dance career in the world of competitive dance, she continued her training under the direction of the FIT Dance Company when she moved to New York City in 2017. After relocating back to NJ during the pandemic, she shifted her direction to teaching dance, which she describes as her favorite part of her dance career thus far! When she’s not in the studio, Miss Kristen can be found taking a yoga or fitness class, working her full-time job in marketing, or scootering down Ocean Avenue in her new hometown of Asbury Park, NJ.
